As an experienced Emergency Medical Technician with a passion for patient care, I possess excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills. Having a bachelor's degree in anthropology with a focus on medical, gender, and cultural studies provides me with valuable skills and perspectives as an EMT. Understanding cultural diversity aids in providing appropriate care to patients from different backgrounds, while knowledge of medical anthropology helps me recognize how social factors can impact health and illness, leading to culturally competent and patient-centered care.
