The Nick Bales BTR Foundation (a 501c3) was started by our son, Nick Bales. Nick started Brought to Reality (BTR) when he was a sophomore in High School not only to make money but to give back to those struggling with their mental health. Unfortunately, we lost our precious son to mental illness on September 29, 2018, at the young age of 17. Since then our calling is to support teens suffering from mental illness and we want to end the stigma surrounding mental health so no child should ever have to think of suicide or suffer in silence. The foundation takes a non-traditional approach because mental health is different for everyone. As of November 2022, BTR with the sales of our products and donations has funded over 430 therapy sessions for young adults who cannot afford them. We believe that spreading awareness, kindness, and compassion is crucial to ending the stigma surrounding mental health. Our mission is to foster a nurturing environment for young adults so that nobody feels alone during their mental health struggles.
