Current• Extensive work on Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER) to include reviewing requirements, developing better grant management processes, and communicating grant requirements with district and Colorado Department of Education (CDE) staff.• Proficient in district software (Peoplesoft).• Prepares mid-year grant budgets and grant close out reports for multiple grants.• 0versees approximately thirty (30) grants to include Adult and Family Education, Native American, and Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) grants.• Works effectively with school personnel and area superintendents to align budgets with grant requirements.• Prepares spreadsheets and pivot tables to track grant spending.• Reconciled accounts and created a spreadsheet procedure to track expenditures and reconcile to the grant’s p-card expenditures. This procedure is now used throughout the district’s Grants Department.• Interacts effectively with various district departments to include human resources, payroll, accounting, procurement, special education, gifted and talented, to gather needed information.• Monitors spenddowns, verify accuracy, pay invoices, process timesheets and process ordering requirements for the district’s Procurement Department for several grants to include Career andTechnical Education and McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance grants.• Generates and distributes payroll reports for Adult Education, Titles I, II III and VI.• Excellent communications skills to build positive relationships with District staff.• Grasps ideas and concepts quickly to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of job requirements.
