Trencalòs Team is a student's team from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) that develops fixed wing UAVs from the ground up.The team has been involved in numerous international competitions since 2009, such as the Air Cargo Challenge or the XtraChallenge.I've worked in various departments, being the Electronics and the Structures departments the most remarkable ones, as well as the ones where I've spent the most time. On the 2024's UAV (named Carbassot) I was in charge of all the aircraft electronics.At this time, I am working on the design and construction of a 3D hot wire cutting machine, that will allow us to test prototypes more easily and at a lower economical cost.

I worked as a Cabin Crew at Lauda Europe, an airline of the Ryanair Group, for the summer season of 2021, flying Short-Haul flights all around Europe. This was my first experience in the aviation industry, and it allowed me to get in touch with professionals in this sector (pilots, maintenance technicians, engineers, dispatchers, etc.). In this role, I was able to use some of the skills that I value the most: Communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, practising languages, and interacting with people. It also allowed me to confirm my passion for aviation, since before being at Ryanair, it was just a hobby of mine.Sadly, since Mallorca is a seasonal base, I could not continue my career as a Cabin Crew, as I was also studying for my engineering degree part-time in Barcelona. For this reason, moving to another base out of Spain was not a possibility for me.Although my stay at Lauda Europe was quite short, I keep great memories of my stay at the company, as well as very valuable pieces of knowledge and experience that I obtained in various fields: First aid, customer service skills, aviation knowledge (aircraft equipment, airline SOPs, emergency drills), among many others.
