Managed a Team of Associates that opened new locations, remodeled older locations, closed stores and implemented new concepts. In this time I helped develop and implemented the South Florida “Beach Store Programs”. This helped south Florida have the most profitable stores in the country. As DOM I crossed over the Six Million dollar mark with the first Eckerd store at that volume. I put Hispanic house wares, skin care and greeting cards in our stores. We were first in express photo units and we implemented programs to install in most stores. We lead the country in sales and profits for the years I was DOM in South Florida. I was chosen as one of the three South Florida DOM’s to head units that would change over Fay’s and Thrift stores to Eckerd. I was involved in converting about 50 stores in a year’s time.
