My position primarily focuses on the development and delivery of Daily Training Bulletins (DTBs) as part of our company's training team. This includes the development of DTB content, reviewing content to ensure consistency within our professional writing standards and style guide, and testing the content to ensure reliable, accurate delivery of DTBs to our client agencies. My additional tasks include providing weekly webinar training for new client agencies beginning DTB training and assisting with the marketing of our fire service products and services at fire service events and conferences regionally and nationally including speaking at the regional and national events.

I have served multiple roles for the Institute. I currently serve as an adjunct instructor and training associate. - Adjunct Instructor: Delivery programs to training sites across the state of Missouri and surrounding states in program areas of Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF), Haz-Mat, Officer Development, and Incident Command. - Training Associate: Develop and review training curriculum to ensure current programs are current with applicable standards for each program and updating curriculum when necessary. - Haz-Mat Program Coordinator: I served in this position from May of 2009 until March 2013. During that time, I coordinated all aspects of the Hazardous Materials Program including curriculum development, acquire, new equipment for the program, maintain current equipment and props, schedule courses, and coordinate with management about program budget, goals, and direction of the hazardous materials program.

My primary responsibility is managing the Institute's mobile Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) program. This program travels to civilian, private, and military airports to provide initial ARFF training and also annual refresher training in over 20 states annually. I also oversee the Institute's other live-fire training programs including mobile structure fire, exterior props including car, dumpster, residential LP and bobtail LP tank props and others.

I served as the Assistant Chief of Training. My responsibilities include program management of all fire and EMS training programs for the organization. I also develop new curriculum to incorporate new technology and techniques as they become available. Additionally, I have an operations responsibility serving as the duty officer one weekday and every 5th weekend. The duty officer responsibility is to coordinate all fire suppression and emergency services operations during emergency responses for our 212 square mile fire district which is covered by 12 stations.

Coordinate daily operations of the Division Office in Springfield MO. Operations within our office included environmental inspections at various client facilities, Environmental emergency response to chemical and other hazardous materials releases on behalf of customers, and provided employee training for client customers on environmental regulation and employee safety compliance.

Served in the position of firefighter. Additional duties include Haz-Mat Team Leader for one shift, Haz-Mat Team Member, served on the organization Challenge Committee, and assisted in training of other firefighters for various classes as required.
