Develop, review and comment on new and revised rules, regulations, policies and procedures governing the importation and testing of veterinary biologics produced in foreign countries to implement the provisions of the VSTA in the face of a foreign animal disease outbreak in the U.S. Serve as a consultant and advisor to Federal and State officials, foreign governments, professional and industry organizations, and the general public concerning program objectives and the scientific and administrative aspects of the biologics program.

Reviewed submissions for veterinary biological products, including vaccines, bacterins, antibody products and diagnostics test kits, from veterinary biologics establishments and permittees.
