I have been engaged in the financial industry for approximately 27 years serving in a number of capacities, but most recently as market president of a $66 million community bank. During my career I have also been a Director, corporate loan auditor, bank consultant, and commercial lender. My jobs have required me to know a good deal about how businesses operate and understand their financial conditions. I am accustomed to the workings of and the reporting to corporate boards of directors, as I have been directly involved in such endeavors my entire career. I am also accustomed to working in a heavily regulated industry, as the banking industry is perhaps one of the most heavily regulated industries in the country. Finally, of particular importance, I am considered to be a good manager of people and have always been recognized as a positive and motivating influence on my co-workers. In addition to my extensive business experience I am a licensed attorney and hold an Executive MBA in Banking. While my experience lies primarily within banking, my leadership, planning, critical thinking and motivation skills are applicable to all industries.
