Served as the contract test lead supervising approximately sixty personnel conducting a limited user test (LUT) on Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Joint Capabilities Release (JCR). Worked with the Government Test Officer, the ORSA, and the Task Lead to agree on a plan for the test. Compiled the test support contractor’s input to the test planning documents. Conducted interviews and made hiring recommendations to fill test team positions. Supervised data collector training. Reviewed the manually collected data for completeness and consistency before forwarding to the Government ORSA for release to the DAG. Delivered the authenticated database to the ORSA upon completion of the test.

Served as an analyst in the Methodology and Training section supporting the Operational Test Tactical Engagement System (OT-TES), a real time casualty assessment system for force on force engagements in a training or testing environment. Regularly tested the system’s capabilities to ensure that any updates or adjustments to the mathematical model worked as intended. Worked with ORSAs from the Operational Test Command’s Methodology and Analysis Directorate to design and conduct the verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) tests for OT-TES to be used in operational testing of the Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS) and the Spider mine system. Conducted experiments that contributed to the assessment of whether MILES 2000 could sufficiently replace OT-TES. Also performed testing on a new generation of position location radios. Assisted in training test players on how to get the most realistic results from their engagements.

Served as the lead ORA for operational testing of several different models of the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle. Coordinated between the Government ORSA and Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity (MCOTEA) personnel to design surveys and questionnaires that would satisfy test requirements. Devised a system to display survey question results based on mission type and test player position or role, providing a simplified means of comparing the different MRAP models. Reviewed all survey, RAM, and MANPRINT data for completeness and consistency before forwarding to the Government ORSA for release to the DAG. Resolved inconsistencies and researched any DAG requests for information.

During test execution, reviewed data from all the systems (in a concerted effort with three other ORAs) before data was forwarded to the Government ORSAs.
