Manages a team of three Credit Analysts. Responsibilities include: Assessing financial risk to determine appropriate credit lines. Liaison between the customers and appropriate areas of the division to assist in resolving items affecting the customer’s account. Communicates with sales teams on items affecting credit decisions. Perform complex financial analysis and credit reviews. Approve order releases with significant financial impact. Performs vigorous collections efforts while maintaining customer relationships. Complete complex customer account reconciliations’. Works with other departments, outside providers, internal customers and external clients to resolve issues or improve processes, and ensure understanding by all parties. Maintain delivery of service levels and generate and communicate results on same. Participate in cross functional projects providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Use excellent verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationships, share recommendations and knowledge to multiple audiences including cross functional teams, internal customers, external clients and management. Work with field and sales management regarding sensitive customer issues. Ensure all accounting records, policies, and practices are compliant with federal, state and local government laws and regulations as well as various regulatory agencies. Assist user community with ad hoc reporting on cash application and accounts receivable reporting.

Responsible for underwriting and analyzing complex financial statements for large credit requests that include public and private companies. Works closely with the sales team and the applicant to determine alternatives to requested terms and amounts to gain business while mitigating risk. Prepares annual reviews - analyzes existing credits to identify possible weaknesses and to uncover potential for the extension of additional credit. Frequent contact with CFO’s, Controllers, Treasurers, discussing a wide range of topics including financial performance, limit requests, and declinations. Manages a portfolio of High Risk clients.

Responsible for managing a portfolio with $125MM outstanding including financial analysis\underwriting, covenant monitoring, renewals, annual reviews and policy\documentation exceptions. Analyzes complex financial and credit information for commercial and individual high net worth clients. Underwrites credits including commercial real estate, commercial construction, commercial and industrial, nonprofit, consumer, and entrepreneurs. Responsible for research and analysis related to loan projectsParticipates in the loan management process by providing credit and loan underwriting expertise to a team of Relationship Managers. Analyzes prospective loan transactions and credit worthiness of borrowers. Provides opinions and recommendations regarding proposed credit, potential risks, and pricing. Ensures all due diligence and background evaluation is complete and thorough before credit approval is granted.
