Perform various audits including food safety, sanitation, environmental, safety, and procedural compliance. Facilitate and coordinate the food safety programs for the facility while, at the same time, ensuring continuous compliance. Assure that the facility is maintained audit ready and interact with various inspectors. Ensure a safe work environment and provide continuous safety training for the department. Responsible for the management of quality assurance, batch/blend, and internal sanitation departments in a high-speed automated bottling/packaging environment overseeing three shifts. Develop, implement, lead, coordinate, and verify application and effectiveness of quality programs including food security, GMPs, HACCP, allergens, pest control, product specifications testing, SOPs, trace/recall, and customer complaint review. Represent company on third party audits to include FDA, military, NSF, AIB, and Kosher.
