The field of nonprofit management continues to evolve, increasing the need for managers to expand their skill sets to meet new challenges. I have created and facilitated a nonprofit training and workshop series: The Art & Science of Nonprofit Management and Leadership©. This series focuses on the management and leadership skills needed in the nonprofit sector. The series includes a special focus on new managers supervising staff who were former colleagues.Workshops in the series have been presented to: Compasspoint, the Young Nonprofit Professional Network, the California School Aged Consortium (CalSAC), the Partnership for Children & Youth's Expanded Learning Symposium and the Expanded Learning Collaborative's August Institute.In addition to this educational focus Third Sector Solutions provides management coaching for executive, mid level and new management staff, and board and organizational development services designed to transform the way nonprofit agencies, staff and board members serve their communities.
