Our expertise is in development, construction, bridging or equity release funding against residential, commercial, industrial and lifestyle/rural property. FMT has extremely competitive interest rates with interest only or capitalised options. Loans from $250,000 to $25 million with terms from 3 months to 5 years. The company has grown at a phenomenal rate over recent years whilst maintaining its key fundamentals in looking after the investor funds, providing strong quarterly returns (7.43%pa for quarter to 30/6/2024) and offering alternative funding options to the marketplace spread throughout key regions in NZ. When I joined in September 2016 the Investor Fund was $419m and the Loan book $350m, as at 27th August 2024 this is now $1,703b & $1,480b respectively. Strong liquidity and availability of funds is paramount to our business. Part of my role is to facilitate key relationships between First Mortgage Trust, Advisers and Aggregator Groups throughout New Zealand. They are integral to FMT's success. I have been involved in commercial lending for over 40 years and understanding and structuring deals to deliver good customer outcomes is a key focus and passion.
