His responsibilities include reviews and investigations, regulatory proceedings, litigation management and dispute resolution.Before joining OMERS, Bruce practiced as a distinguished litigation counsel based in Toronto for more than 30 years, initially at Blakes and then at Smith Lyons and finally at Gowlings.Bruce received his law degree from the University of Western Ontario and his secondary school degree from the University of Toronto schools. He is a keen skier, golfer and fisherman and races competitively at the RCYC on Toronto Island.
