Process incoming freight and stock shelves. Maintain aisles, following established sorting and stocking guidelines. Build product displays and ensure everything in store is signed correctly. Provide exceptional customer service and sell store brand product.

Hire, train, schedule, and supervise up to 20 booksellers each semester. Partner with store manager ensuring high customer service standards and sales goals are met, and products are ordered and received correctly in a timely manner. Ensure satisfaction from customers and client, confirming the store is meeting all their needs. Maintain inventory including allocation, ordering, returning and markdowns. Oversaw the largest increase in year to year convenience sales in the company in 2017. Assist store manager in fostering campus relationships and supporting store operations. Manage social media for store, posting at least once per week, and assist in planning and executing campus events.

Pull and ship orders for customers. Cut and install plugs on electrical wire for customers. Coordinate employees’ duties and tasks, ensuring orders are pulled correctly and shipped on time. Other duties as assigned.

In addition to responsibilities required as supervisor, communicate with faculty and staff to ensure requested course materials are entered in our systems correctly and in stock on shelves. In charge of ensuring adequate inventory levels of textbook stock including ordering, receiving, and returning inventory. Maintain relationships with faculty and book publisher reps to make the bookstore their go to for whatever they need for classes. Must work with the athletic compliance department to ensure student athletes on scholarship receive and return required materials for courses.

Supervise a team of 20 employees with responsibilities for the textbook area of the store. These responsibilities include the stocking of selections required for the broad course curriculum at Indiana University. Additional responsibilities include the textbook "buyback" program at the end of each semester. The university has an undergraduate enrollment of over 30,000 and a graduate enrollment of 10,000. Key responsibilities as a member of the store management team include setting and achieving standards for customer service, cleanliness, and overall display appeal.
