While in this role Bruce managed and directed efforts to the largest financial institutions in the world: Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Bank of China, Chohung Bank to name a few. Some of the highlights were:Working with the newly formed Shanghai Stock Exchange to create an infrastructure of forecasting and historical risk management: In the late 1990's the exchange experienced an unprecedented boom and Sybase was invited to give oversight to try and stem the tide of massive fluctuations in valuation.Working with Japanese technology providers, Sybase was instrumental in creating the data infrastructure for Tokyo-Mitsubishi. This was Japan's first national effort to enable a shared regional bank system. Bruce was a key player in these and similar efforts.
