Working directly to Subsea 7 on Chevron's Gorgon Project, Bruce works as an on-site HSE Adviser overseeing the fabrication and loadout of spools.

Working a dual role HSE role within Intecsea ANZ corporately and on Chevron’s Wheatstone Project, Bruce is currently working as INTECSEA ANZ’s HSE Specialist. Bruce reports directly to the Senior Vice President and the Wheatstone Project Manager. Bruce is responsible for the day-to-day occupational health and safety of approximately 120 people. Bruce has been a leading figure in the development and implementation of both regional and project specific occupational HSE documentation, systems and processes.Key Performance Indicators have included:- Development and implementation of INTECSEA ANZ’s HSE Management Plan which documents the HSE arrangements in place within ANZ, including HSE responsibilities, induction and training arrangements, incident reporting and management processes and emergency response arrangements.- Development of INTECSEA ANZ’s Security Management Plan.- Conducting incident investigation and reporting as well as Return to Work programmes- Coordination of the implementation of OneWay; - the WorleyParsons Group enterprise wide in-tegrity management framework which establishes corporate expectations for the company will progress towards its HSE vision of zero harm.- Continuous development and improvement within HSE communications, including the devel-opment of a region-wide bi-monthly HSE Bulletin.- Development and leadership of a Safety Leadership Team whose role is to promote and develop a positive HSE culture on the Wheatstone Project.- Development and implementation of corporate and project specific inductions, ergonomic workstation assessment and building emergency response procedures- Development and implementation of a project specific travel procedure

Working in a holding role of HSE Manager, as part of the Project Management Team and reporting directly to the Project Director, Bruce is responsible for the day-to-day Occupational HSES of approximately 380 people within the Perth office as well as overseeing and providing advice and direction on the HSES management of another 300 employees based in UK, Beijing and Jakarta. Bruce is responsible for the implementation of the Project’s HSE policies, plans, strategies and initiatives which have included:- Development and maintenance of the Project HSE Plan and underpinning procedures;- Incident investigation and reporting- Integral support to Project procurement process to ensure correct selection of sub-suppliers- Hosting monthly HSE Steering Group for the Senior Project Management Team as well as - Development and heading up the local HSE Committee- Implementation of occupational HSE systems and processes;- including required IT systems- Design and roll out of a number of HSE training sessions and cultural workshops- Risk management of Project Travel;- including emergency response and employee tracking- Providing monthly reports and presentations made to the Project Management Team and the rest of the Project.

- Worked individually within a small corporate HSE Department- Designed and implemented a comprehensive HSE intranet site- Wrote and presented global safety talks and presentations- Ran induction and other HSE training presentations and workshops on a monthly basis- Developed a number of HSE specific databases for implementation within the department- Trained in Taproot an industry recognised incident investigation tool- Lead the HSE audit in the Moscow office and continued to provide support and assistance to colleagues during closing out the findings- HAZID/ENVID secretarial support provided on a number of occasions.

- Worked as part of the Project’s HSE Department- Developed a HSE Action Tracking System for Project wide use- Wrote and assisted with the development of a number of HSE construction procedures and standards- Developed and implemented a HSE internet portal to manage HSE documentation.

University Industrial Placement- Worked within a country-wide team of specialist insurance fraud investigators- Coordinated covert surveillance with external suppliers and the investigators- Analysed data on the units’ effectiveness.
