Having spent a significant portion of my career delivering digital transformation projects and programs, I took 2021 as an opportunity to apply my project management skills across a range of personal growth and development initiatives. This included the hands-on renovations and project management of construction projects across my property portfolio, extended professional development through my studies and travel around the North Island.

As a key member of the NZ Post Customer Communications Management unit, I demonstrated an expert understanding of Lean 6-Sigma, Prince2, Agile, Hybrid, Adaptive and Traditional Project Management methodologies while leading and delivering digital transformation, document and mail solutions to a range of key New Zealand companies. Key Projects Delivered: • Successfully transformed the business’ Project Management Framework and Processes, led a culture of continuous improvement and initiated change thereby enhancing governance, transparency, data accessibility, quality and integrity. Implemented a centralised “Estimate” management process and system, improved BAU Change Request processes and significantly improved efficiency and minimised issues and defects.• Successfully revitalised a key project with ANZ, redesigned ANZ’s Investments Periodic Statement and Invoice and led the migration of the NZ KiwiSaver and Wealth Certificate Reporting system to the Inspire platform. Liaised with vendors and executives and strategised a new approach which resulted in ANZ receiving awards for the Most Innovated Communication and Workplace Savings Excellence in Communication. • Spearheaded the development and implementation of PMSA’s Workflow Automation Digital Strategy through a Direct Connect system console and dashboard. Improved the integrity of the system through regular process checkpoints, developed SOPs and provided training and support during implementation, roll-out and roadshows.• Cultivated and fostered exceptional relationships with the Mercury Executive and Project Teams, led the migration to the Quadient® Inspire (CCM) platform and led work across multiple projects to ensure business needs were met while rebranding Mercury’s communication documents. Coordinated the redesign of billing documents in line with Mercury’s first digital strategy and received industry awards and commendations for their design and innovative approach.

Summary: Leveraging over 20 years in the insurance and finance industry, I offered invaluable insights across analytics, reporting, infrastructure and data warehousing while managing the NIWA project alongside key projects with Radio Network, Delegats, Ports of Auckland, Paymark and Tainui Trust Hamilton (The Hub). Key Projects Delivered: • Collaborated with NIWA stakeholders and vendors to analyse and define business requirements, created user stories to detail business requirements and prioritised deliverables in accordance with client requirements. • Gathered insights on the challenges facing the existing infrastructure, supported vendors in the documentation of all Solution and Server Architecture Designs and compiled Test Plans, Training Guides, Handover Info and Support Documentation thereby enabling the seamless roll out of the new infrastructure. • Spearheaded the in-depth analysis and integration of data through the NIWA Oracle and Chris21 database, assessed the new content store and data warehouse and ensured the system was fit for purpose and user-friendly. • Demonstrated an expert understanding of IBM Cognos C10 Reporting and TM1 (OLAP) business analytics tools, provided support and guidance to the team and encouraged skills development across the team. • Established and maintained relationships with key clients, developed and presented business and technical level presentations, workshops and demonstrations and ensured a clear understanding of system requirements. PSummary: During my tenure with IAG Insurance, I became an integral part of various Business Leadership and Project Management teams while continually striving to drive business improvements, leading system migrations and transitioning the business into a digital environment.
