• Curate a custom events department to help “Connect the Dots”, providing synergy between offices thereby increasing school-wide event outreach to the community• Lead my team in the coordination and development of over 3,000 domestic and international conferences, events, and symposia annually• Charged with the reengineering and development of several key events: Convocation, Admitted Students Day, Orientation, and Family Day• Co-create and manage International Conferences for Development and Alumni Relations• Instrumentally participating in three Law School campaigns creating event experiences. Each campaign raised over $400,000,000 million over an eight year duration• Interact with Chartwells to ensure event, food, and catering best practices are delivered• Market departmental services, facilities, and productions University-wide and externally• Liaise with University faculty, staff, and administration regarding marketing focus, advertising, event budgets and related details • Offer public relations support to create the mission statement for the event managers to deliver to the participants • Develop event and menu structure to recognize the culinary and cultural requirements of the client while utilizing local businesses, vendors and farms• Establish and support interactive Law School event calendar for 18,000 requests annually• Oversee controls of food and beverage operations of two on-site cafes, faculty pantry service, and an external food service provider• Work closely with Alumni Relations to design event criteria, market and promote the University’s mission, and nurture fundraising efforts• Create and maintain departmental website with access to Law School calendar, room schematics, Caterease, facilities and event space, products and services• Establish collaborative relationships with local businesses, negotiate contracts with vendors, offsite contractors, and rental agencies to maintain a high level of service and product quality control
