Bruce Snyder, who served as General Counsel to the Las Vegas City Employees’ Association for the past 11 years, is re-establishing his private law practice—fighting for the rights of all employees, now both public and private. Mr. Snyder reopened his practice as the Snyder Law Group in Las Vegas in March, and then founded the Southern Nevada Workers’ Rights Center, an organization focused solely on protecting employee rights.The Southern Nevada Workers’ Rights Center supports employees by providing resources and counseling to executives and employees who are facing tough employment situations. The Center also helps employees, former employees and job applicants that have been wrongfully denied work the legal support to bring their claims before various state and federal employment agencies, and in the local and federal courts. The Snyder Law Group will remain focused on fulfilling the legal needs of individuals, including those facing family, estate and other civil law problems.Before opening his law practice in Nevada in 2001, Bruce fought for individual and workers' rights at the American Civil Liberties Union, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
