Bruce Petillo has navigated life’s most challenging storm with the loss of his beloved son, Christian, in 2021. In the wake of this tragedy, he channeled his grief into founding Heartitude, a benefit corporation that champions treating each person with kindness, compassion and empathy by leading, living and loving from the heart.Prior to Heartitude, Petillo’s altruistic spirit gave rise to the Fans Across America Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. As a founder and board member for 16 years, his leadership saw Fans begin as an organization to help support families with seriously ill children and evolve to provide daily living essentials to homeless students, victims of domestic violence, and families facing adversity. Petillo was honored for his work with Fans by Major League Baseball and People Magazine by being named an All Star Among Us at the 2009 MLB All Star Game in St. Louis. In June of 2021, Fans merged with Child Crisis Arizona.In the professional realm, Petillo is at the forefront of Microsoft’s global partner marketing, managing the strategic global marketing relationship with SAP. His journey in this field evolved during his leadership tenure at ECENTA Digital, where he managed and directed the digital customer experience and marketing strategy practice for the esteemed SAP CX systems integrator.Petillo’s marketing acumen was further refined during his impactful tenure at Insight, a Fortune 400 company, where he was a leading executive who helped reimagine digital marketing, increase marketing revenue, and devise effective go-to-market strategies. His efforts were instrumental in achieving exponential pipeline and revenue growth, helping to lead during a significant transition in the company’s history.Beyond the boardroom, Petillo’s early days as a professional baseball player with the Philadelphia Phillies organization laid the foundation for his dynamic career.
