Created in 2019, the Battle Lab is in charge of open innovation for the French Army.

Commandement du 2e GIS, service d’incendie et de secours interdépartemental :- assurant la protection des personnes, des biens et de l’environnement sur un secteur s’étendant sur 287 km², accueillant une population de 2 millions d’habitants et regroupant approximativement le tiers sud-est de Paris et la quasi-totalité du département du Val-de-Marne (94) ;- comprenant 1650 sapeurs-pompiers de Paris (effectif réalisé), répartis en 8 compagnies d’incendies et de secours (totalisant 24 centres de secours opérationnels), 1 compagnie de commandement et de logistique, 1 état-major et 1 antenne médicale intégrée ;- répartis en 24 emprises opérationnelles dont le plus grand centre de secours en Europe ;- armant 47 vecteurs sanitaires, 37 engin-pompes, 14 moyens élévateurs aériens, 21 véhicules du commandement et 15 véhicules spéciaux.Assure la fonction de commandant des opérations de secours (COS).

Supervise, oriente et contrôle l’ensemble des fonctions liées à l’activité opérationnelle du corps (150 000 interventions/an, dont 80 incendies importants /an) :- conduite opérationnelle (déploiement et couverture opérationnelle, renseignement…) ;- préparation opérationnelle (23 centres de secours et 1650 militaires) ; - planification opérationnelle (manifestations revendicatives, violences urbaines, phénomènes climatiques, mouvements sociaux , épidémie Covid-19…) ;- prévision opérationnelle (53 établissement répertoriés de niveau 3, 14 plan d’opérations internes, 287 installations classées, Aéroport d'Orly, MIN de Rungis…)- RETEX (env.50 /an) dont les opérations majeures de la rue de Trévise (12/01/19) et Notre Dame (15/04/19) ;- Participation aux évolutions doctrinales (engagement en chantier souterrain Grand Paris Express…) et à l'expérimentation de nouveau moyens & équipements.Sur le terrain, assure la fonction de Commandant des opérations de secours (COS). Participation à plusieurs opérations importantes dont l’incendie de Notre-Dame (coordination inter-services au niveau tactique).

French Joint CBRN Defence Center (armed forces)

Chief of Plans branch (G5) of the MINUSMA Sector East (SE) HQ, heading 6 multi-national contingents totaling 3,000 military personnel.Conduct of the SE planning process and direction of the development of operational orders.Planning of all major operational activities : military operations, protection of the population, escorts of the UN civilian pillars, escort of logistic convoys, protection of UN compounds...Support to the Demobilization, desarmament and reintegration (DDR) process as well as the « Mecanisme operationnel de coordination » (MOC).Coordination with the Malian armed forces and all other partner forces deployed in Mali.

French Joint CBRN Defence Center (armed forces).Officer in charge of the doctrine studies of the Joint CBRN Defense, in coordination with central HQ and interministerial stakeholders.Redactor of the joint publication « Employment of CBRN-E Defense on homeland » : doctrine of use of armed forces CBRN-E capabitities in support of civilian security and safety forces in case of a CBRN event (accidental ou intentionnal) on French national territory.French representative in the NATO panel in charge of CBRN information management.Senior duty officer in the armed forces CBRN crisis managment cell, deployable in support of any regional integrated civilian-military HQ in case of CBRN event.Competent Radiological Protection Person (PCR) for sealed and unsealed sources. Advisor of the commander for all radioprotection matters: study of working posts / hazards management, zoning, dosimetric follow-up and training of personnel, internal control,...).Participation to several projects/studies related to CBRN-E purposes (mass casualty decontamination, civilian-military first responders integrated decontamination area, personal protective equipment posture…).

Work on an homeland security CBRN-E issue.Position linked to a CBRN-E Master's degree.

Substitute to the Executive Officer of the Cooperation and Regional Security (C&RS) division, in charge of NATO's partnerships.

Staff officer among the operations cell of the headquarter of the 1st Paris Fire Battlegroup (1700 firefighters and 23 firestations), which ensures fire protection and first aids for an area of responsability composed of the North of Paris (districts number 9, 17, 18,19 and 20) and all the department of Seine Saint-Denis (93).The operation cells (30 operators) supervises about 550 daily interventions. On the field: leading the Tactical Command Post, that is deployed during major incidents and fires (1 to 2 daily interventions on average).

2008-2010: Company commander - Paris Fire Department company commanderLeading of 100 Paris firefighters deployed overseas (French Guiana, South America - Kourou) in the European Space Sport (300 milles²), through 4 firestations (20 engines & 3 boats).My mission was to ensure operationnal readiness for a full spectrum of incidents (fire, hazmat incidents, first aid, sea search and rescue, wild animals...).About 4000 interventions per year (incidents and preplanned deployments: rockets launches, satellites refuelling...) and 20 launches campains in 4 years.In addition to other current activities (leadership, training, logistics, supplying, human ressources, recruting...), my main challenge was to create a new firestation (financing, building, equipment, recruitment...) dedicaded to the protection of the launch facilities of the Russian rocket, "Soyouz".2006-2008: deputy commander of the same company
