Responsible to Lead the Tax Strategy Team, which oversees global expansion efforts, tax efficiency, and planning projects with a holistic approach, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all tax technical aspects, with the collaboration of the Tax Compliance Teams.

Leader of the TTS team, supporting EBANX operational teams on the current and upcoming operations, mapping the tax environment in over 18 countries, responsible for indicating operational tax exposures and for establishing the best solving plan, as well as continuously provide direct support for the commercial team and EBANX client's and partners.

Responsible for mapping the applicable taxes on each step of the operational flow (e.g. transactional taxes), involved on the online purchase of digital products, services and retail, in LATAM and African Continent. Support to the operational teams as well in the discussions with EBANX's clients regarding the taxation levied on each product/solution.

Responsible for the Tax Transaction Services, working closely both with the Sales and the Business Architecture team by providing a guideline to the Technology Development teams to build the API accordingly to the local tax legislation (e.g. white-label experience, checkout etc.). Lead the monitoring of Tax Legislation changes and updates of over 15.

Led both Compliance and Planning Tax matters for all international operations of VTEX in over 13 countries across LATAM, Europe and the US, which included the incorporation of new entities, tax registration, analysis of local legislation concerning the taxation of SaaS, support to sales teams, monthly closing review, tax calculation and provision of CIT.
