🌍 I am a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), recognized as the second best Federal University in Brazil by the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities for 2024. As a member of the communication team at the Center for Gender Identity and Subjectivities (NIGS/UFSC), I am involved in research development on gender and sexuality, gender-based violence, abortion, childbirth, and infancy.🎓 Additionally, I hold a Master's degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), where my research on childbirth, obstetric violence, and social movements garnered attention, earning an honorable mention from the Brazilian Anthropology Association at the 2022 Brazilian Anthropology Meeting.💼 My passion for anthropology and communication has led me to actively contribute to the IUAES (International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences), where I utilize my skills in social media management and online tools to promote the 18th IUAES World Congress. Furthermore, I am part of the inspiring Philosophy of Birth project at the Complutense University of Madrid, among other relevant initiatives.🔍 I am currently seeking opportunities to expand my experience in anthropology across diverse contexts, with a focus on projects that promote cultural diversity, inclusion, and social development. I am open to collaborations, research projects, and consulting opportunities that seek innovative approaches to social challenges.📚 With a background in Linguistics from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), I bring a wealth of experience in both in-person and online classroom settings. My academic journey has led me to fieldwork experiences in Southern Brazil, and I am currently focused on research in Spain, exploring issues of obstetric violence, maternity, and reproductive justice.
