As a music producer, I was selected to be a part of the fully-funded B-Side Music Production Residency by Serendipity Arts Foundation (October 2024). I have also been offered a partial scholarship to attend the Synthfarm Residency for soundsynthesis, modular science, and electronic music learning (November 2024).

I am a part of the core team at Gaysi and am involved with all aspects of content creation for various projects, including IG lives & other social media content, as well as publications on www.gaysifamily.comI've also been involved developing, curating, organizing, and promoting our various offline event properties like 2x2 Bar Nights, zine-making workshops, Dirty Talk (open mics), QueerMade (a Tinder festival property) and more! Have managed queer artists as part of their performances at these events as well.Starting 2024, I also lead the instructional design and facilitation of DEI&B sessions at corporate workplaces, touching upon topics like power & privilege in the workplace, basics of allyship, among others. I've also facilitated conversations at workplaces+conferences about the history of queerness and unpacking the dominant media narratives about gender.

I work with media platforms and think tanks on matters of mental health, social justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, accessibility, climate change, and gender mainstreaming.My work has been published on platforms like Queerbeat, The Established, Quint, Re:Set, Qrius, Gaysi, The Wild City, among others. As a researcher, I have been featured by spaces like Asian Safe Abortion Partnership, PanACEa: Asexuality Asia Conference, India Diversity Forum, egoMonk, and others.

I began working as a writing coach when some friends asked me to review their essays and work with them on their application kit to top B-Schools. Right from soundboarding to various levels of edits, I worked closely with them on their SOPs, resumes, and letters of recommendation. When they eventually got into their desired programs, they referred others who reached out to them for advice to me. Ever since, I've loved working with people to discover their voice and tell their stories. I began to organically get more and more requests from individuals at different stages in their career. From B-School applications and media profiles, to using writing a method of self-exploration and expression - my clients have sought my support for my non-judgmental approach and belief in the power of storytelling. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with over 75 B-School aspirants, many of them who have successfully gone on to attend programs at Indian School of Business, Samuel Curtis Johnson School of Management, NYU Stern, Columbia Business School, Carlson School of Management, Schulich School of Business and Simon Business School, Rochester. Delightfully, some of these candidates even received scholarships!After repeated requests, I also began to work with other college aspirants aiming to go abroad for graduate and post-graduate (undergrad and graduate in the United States) programs. I enjoy listening to each of their stories, and as I grew older, it helped me connect with many young queer folx who wanted to express their identities and personalities in these spaces. While on this trajectory, I also worked with prominent consultancies like The Red Pen, Crackverbal, CollegePass, among others.Over the past few years, I have also been working closely with individuals who want to improve their writing skills as a way to discover their voice, hone their skills, and tell their stories with conviction - at home, in society, and wherever else they choose to express.

I have been working with startups, feminist advocacy, and development consultancies to refine and convey their ideas impactfully to multiple stakeholders through thought leadership pieces, social media, press releases, as well as business plans. I have re-jigged websites and brands by researching the core audience, their personas and their experience of existing platforms, improved the leads/sales funnel, created thought leadership pieces that help improve the brand's trustworthiness in their respective sectors, designed the content and sharing strategy for their SocMed channels, and various other comms-led initiatives. Sectors - gender advocacy, education, food tech, fashion, skincare and hospitality.

Written about gender, sex, and sexuality from a perspective that is disability-aware, queer-affirming, and sex-positive.Also edited the website and various user manuals to make sure they were user-friendly and inclusive+sensitive in their language. Have also directed visual content such as the sex-ed masterclasses, the 'Not your Everyday Ableism' campaign, and the 'In My Skin' campaign.

Sexuality & Disability practice

Coordinated for a series of webinars on developing perspective on global socio-political issues, human rights and engaging across diverse identities. Led breakout group discussions, organized Google group repositories for learning material, and made audio-visual recordings accessible to participants for their perusal.

I led brand partnerships and conceptualized media properties that helped diversify the audience as well as the talent.I was also involved in decisions around customer experience.

Delhi/Bihar

Managed an ambitious 1000-school programme being implemented across the state of Bihar. I focused on the district of West Champaran, where we were running a pilot, which GTS hopes to replicate state-wide in the near future. I initiated monitoring visits and helped better team communications through remote management and follow-ups. I also helped with producing the initial 'Scrappy News' episodes- a project launched to tell the stories of rural entrepreneurs supported by Be! Fund by engaging student journalists from Government middle schools.

Ladakh

The Foundation is doing a great job reaching out to a remotely-set civilization, and implementing a reading system in a sensitive, culturally-aware manner. I learnt that it is possible for us to change people's minds, their attitude and approaches, if we worked on building empathetic systems - that was the answer! I spent much of my time in the rural Nubra valley, which could largely be divided into two trips: one that took me to Turtuk and back to Leh, covering several villages in between, visiting schools, conducting basic reading assessment, and inspecting the level of implementation of programs across government primary and secondary schools. The second trip took me to Tiger and Panamek where I facilitated workshops for kids, which included art, paper mache craft, puppet-making, and a role-play show put together with the kids at the end of the 4 days. I also visited schools within Leh, conducting reading programs, collecting data. Lived in Ladakhi homes (not homestays), getting to know the people, and came back looking at life through an entirely new lens! Also went on my first solo-trek along the Sham valley from Likhir to Hemishupah- it took me three days.

Chennai Area, India

Got interested in Jiddu Krishnamurti while exploring neuroeconomics and the Holographic Brain theory propounded by Karl Pribram and David Bohm. David Bohm and J. Krishnamurti had been intellectual acquaintances, and I had hoped to understand the theory better through JK's philosophy and teachings.JK's ideas also introduced me to the application of systems thinking, and the breakdown of complex systems during execution(the education system, in particular). I found 'Peaceful Parenting' techniques interesting, and studied about how our education system might be seeding an incentive system that eventually leads to political corruption and tangential decision-making in large corporations and complex systems.

Took some time off for personal development. Traveled, read voraciously, and focused on developing a health regime and a relationship with food that worked for me. Spent time with family, and met new people across the country, who were engaged in varied professions. I have better clarity on my ideas, and this period helped broaden my views on the world.

Mumbai

Part of the Crisil Certified Analyst Program (CCAP), an intensive, entry-level programme that 'aims to inculcate fine business and financial analytical skills in the trainees'. It combines classroom-oriented coursework with on-the-floor job assignments.On the work side, I was with the company's consulting arm, CRISIL Risk and Infrastructure Solutions (CRIS); more specifically the Transport team. It plunged me into the world of logistics, ports, financial modeling, forecasting, and so much more, and was a steep learning curve, in every aspect, throughout.Projects: Traffic Projection and Business Plan for Private East Coast Ports Responsibilities included: Research on commodities with traffic potential at port, and writing of main traffic report.  Research and creation of business plan especially sections involving dashboard of financial and operational parameters, SWOT analysis, and market strategy. Pre-policy Report for Multi-lateral developmental financial institution Research on section for global policy benchmark, and writing of that report section.Tariff Proposal Applicaiton for Third Party usage of barge jetty at Major Port Primary team member. I edited a report on the fruit bat ecosystem at the Egmore Museum. While it was paid project, learning about biodiversity is something that I have been passionate about. That was an essential driver for me to take it up, despite being busy with a summer internship at the time.
