I'm a biomedical engineer, graduaded at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE, Brazil), however I'm interested in working in project management. My interest in PM started in college, when me and other coleagues foundaded the biomedical engineering junior entreprise. In that period, I've developped the ability to solve (a lot of) problems. I also have been an engineering intern, working directly with the main engineer, helping her to manage all the medical equipaments in the hospital. After college, I've worked for a while in my graduation area and, after that, I've begun in the project management area at LDI. There, I got to work directly with the project manager of 4 R&D and software development projects, sponsored by Dell Technologies, using agile methods. It was very challeging, but I grew a lot professionally. Some of the activities I've done while working as project management assistant were:- Support the Project Manager in project planning and monitoring activities;- Solve team problems/demands; - Update and analyze project indicators/KPIs; - Contact with clients and stakeholders; - Conduct status report meetings; - Monitore project risksNowadays I still work at LDI, but in the project prospection and creation team. Although my routine is calmer now, I have great responsabiliites and I have to achieve all the goals stablished. I've finished the MBA in Project Management to get more teorical knowlegde. I'm also interested in agile methods and I'm looking for new oportunities in PM to learn.
