Appointed Actuary responsible for Local GAAP Reserving (Non-Life and Life), Financial Planning, Performance Management, Retrocession, Solvency and Capital Management.

Responsible for lead a team of 8 actuaries to deliver complex projects for major Brazilian insurance companies. Relevant projects: several M&A operations (due diligence, actuarial advisor sell side and buy side), Strategy review and turnaround implementation, IFRS 17 implementation, Financial/Actuarial modeling, Quantitative Risk metrics implementation, Actuarial advisor and reserve review (second opinion) for special clients. Several international projects with clients in USA, Canada, Spain, Germany, Italy, Argentina and Japan.

Main projects delivered: - several financial statements audits working closely to auditors and client Chief Actuaries to assess data quality, reserves and capital adequacy, reinsurance/retrocession operations.- Re structuring FP&A process and tools for a large Life Insurance Company. - Actuarial modeling of estimated cash flows for P&C and Life insurance clients. - Actuarial models review and validation. - Claims Reserve Reviews / Second opinions using classical actuarial reserving models and stochastic modeling. - Review and improvement of Data Handling (ETL) process. Actuarial tasks automation. Design of actuarial reports.

Responsible for optimize data collection process from several different legacy systems, data handling and deliver of reports/dashboards related to a huge ceded reinsurance operation. Key results: improved performance of claims recovery process, treaty performance report for management and C-level executives.
