In the first seven years of my professional career, I work in different sections of Electrical Design. My first two years was with NDI (National Designers Incorporated), where we design Block Diagrams for Naval Base Projects. This includes Schematics, Cable lay outs for Black Box Systems.The Next five years, I worked for Burroughs Corporation in Paoli PA. I design Alarm boards for Multiplexed System activity. The board detected alarm sensors in an isolated area,The alarm was set off in the command center. My next assignment was to design circuitry to power down Hard drive from ruggedized PC. The OS Disk remained in the PC, but insert and remove drive while system was HOT (On and Operating).The remaining years (10+ years) was in software development. First using MC6809 Assembly language software to directly interface with Telephone switch. The PDU (Pollable Data Unit) interfaced with a HP-UX UNIX server. The server generated reports to the Telecom companys to generate Phone Lists.Also worked for Comverse Network SYstem (2.0 years), they designed an interface to PPS (Pre Paid Service) switch that that inserted data into an Oracle DataBase. The systems were Hot-Swappable, which means, if the system does not respond in xxx milliseconds, then the primary node is detached and the secondary node takes over..Currently taking Classes to allow me remain current with Technology in the software Development world. The class are Electrical Engineering Technology Hardware design classes. In addition I am taking software classes to remain current with C++, Java, and Programming Micro-Controllers classes.
