From Mechanical Engineering to information security and data protection consultant, passing through the world of marketing, corporate sales, and entrepreneurship.I started my academic journey studying Mechanical Engineering because I identified with the exact sciences in high school, despite not linking the course, there I had the opportunity to do internship in a UAV company, where I had contact with other business areas that cotch my attention, which led me to take a new entrance exam (Here in Brazil some of the bests colleges are public and you need to take an exam to enter), but now for Business Administration.In Business Administration, I joined a Junior Enterprise, being a consultant, sales, and project director in the end, which opened the doors for me to participate in a trainee process in the sales team of an Information Security company (PROOF/2017), awakening in me the interest for working with technology.After some time, I received an offer to work in the B2B sales team at OI S.A. and I understood that it would be an amazing opportunity to get sum experience working in a large company.In 2019, I was invited to return to PROOF (the same one that gave me the opportunity to become a trainee), and at that time I had the goal of migrating to an Information Security consultant job, I accepted the offer, because I knew that over there I would get more opportunity to do so.Even doing primarily sales work, I was able to participate in some Consulting, Security Awareness projects and to carry out the ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Certification. At the beginning of 2020, an opportunity to become a consultant came up, but with the C-19 in Brazil it was freezed until near the middle of the year, when I finally started to work effectively as a full-time consultant, being responsible for projects of LGPD adequation, Information Security Audit and Governance. As the security team was not robust, I took the operational responsibility of the LGPD adequations projects, leading 03 members of the team exclusively dedicated to this type of project.After some time, a new job proposal related to Risk in Information Security appeared at Ericsson, which I understood to be a good opportunity for professional growth, and I took it! In 2022, I received a new proposal to work allocated at an ISH contract, and again I accepted and started working in Prudential of Brazil as a GRC Analyst.
