About Bruno Lacoste

Château Méaume represents a new lineage of winemaking. Combining a vine quality to match the great estates with the boldness of a contemporary, craft winery, Château Méaume has produced Bordeaux red wine since 1795. ---With its beginnings as a gift from King Louis XIV to his bodyguard, Château Méaume has lived many lives. From pioneering new distillation techniques for cognac to developing a signature Bordeaux claret that is treasured across the world. It’s a story we want to continue telling, whether it is with a glass of a familiar favourite at home or inviting a select few to experience the lifestyle firsthand in the stunning surroundings of the Château. With a new generation of propriétaires, we are expanding on our legacy. We are refining our wine to champion a heritage of exceptional grape flavour, restoring the estate to its original vision and welcoming in even more people to discover everything we have to offer. ---As an oenologist with over 20 years experience developing and designing wines with producers from small boutiques to iconic brands across France, Spain, Argentina and Brazil, I am dedicated to the craft of winemaking. In all of my work, my focus is to bring out the personality of the wine and to ensure it matches the vision of its producers. Creating extraordinary wine requires a perfect balance of ecology, tradition and technical precision. I am excited with the deep potential at Château Méaume with the many stimulating projects we are working on. Wine is a lifelong passion of mine and to be working alongside Mark and Sandra is a great privilege. ---We are now able to receive new enquiries from select wine buyers who align with our vision. We are looking to form the right partnerships from those who want to share the rich history, flavours and iconic taste of Château Méaume. To learn, taste, and experience Château Méaume, please send a message, drop me an email or visit our website.

Château Méaume has produced Bordeaux red wine since 1795. Located in the heart of the Bordeaux region, the careful and delicate selection of the best grapes consistently produces a wine beautifully deep in color, smooth and fruity with roundness, volume and elegance. It has become an iconic taste of Bordeaux and can be found in the UK, Europe, the Far East and the Caribbean. As an Oenologue at Château Méaume, I am working to help to expand its production, to increase the reach of its brand and to continue refining its flavours. At Château Méaume, all aspects of the estate are centered on sustainability.
