About Bruno V.

Driven by the desire to make the financial markets a better place for everyone, I joined Québec's financial regulator, the Autorité des marchés financiers, in 2016. Early on, I contributed to various mandates relating to the regulation of investment products. Cultivating an interest for alternative investments and decentralized finance, I eventually took on roles at the forefront of the Canadian regulatory efforts relating to emerging investment products.Striving to contribute further to financial inclusion, fairness, innovation and efficiency, I accepted the role of director of investment products oversight in 2023.I hold a Bachelor of Laws and a Juris Doctor from the University of Montreal and a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in finance from Concordia University. I am also a member of the Barreau du Québec.
