I am a passionate Landscape Architect, professor and researcher dedicated to crafting regenerative urban futures. Currently a PhD student in Urbanism (PROURB - FAU/UFRJ), I hold a degree in Architecture and Urbanism, a specialization in Urban Sociology and a master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning. My research interests lie in the entanglements of cities, landscapes and naturecultures 🕸️ 🌎 🌳 At the Rio de Janeiro-based firm Embyá - Landscapes & Ecosystems, I have been working for over ten years in all scales and phases of landscape architecture and land development projects, including the design of public and private open spaces, environmental studies, ecological restorations and interventions in historical gardens. As a professor in the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at PUC-Rio, I teach courses in landscape design and urbanism, aiming to inspire and prepare the next generation of professionals to tackle contemporary uncertainties with rigour and creativity.
