Over the years I have been enjoying an exciting, varied and international career encompassing marketing, brand & communications positions alongside a number of non-executive directorships, sales and general management roles, based in Brazil, UK, the Netherlands and Switzerland.Between 2007 and 2014 I was a member of the Shell Corporate Communications leadership team and, as VP Brand for Shell, responsible for managing the brand for the Shell Group and proud for having helped grow its value by over 35% during that period. As the CEO of Shell Brands International I led a team with responsibilities for global corporate advertising, promotions, media planning and buying, as well as global sponsorships - managing the Shell Formula 1 relationship with Ferrari over a number of years, as well as licensing of the Shell brand to Shell companies and third parties around the world.Prior to that, I also had the opportunity to perform a variety of senior sales, marketing, communications and general management roles in a number of B2C and B2B businesses at Shell. From October 2017 to March 2019 I led Petrobras' Corporate Communication area in the period of recovery of the company's image and reputation following the "Car Wash Operation (" Operação Lavajato"), supporting a reversal of the company's image and reputational performance with the launch of communication campaigns focused on its anti-corruption and brand repositioning efforts.I see myself as a customer champion and an enthusiast of brand, marketing and communications innovations to drive business growth. I am also a believer (and learner) in integrated communications and the power of new digital technologies and social media platforms to revolutionise the way brands communicate with their stakeholders, enhance customer focus and, consequently, business success.
