I am a Biomedical Engineering student with a strong academic and professional background, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, software engineering, and bioengineering. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Aveiro, I have been actively involved in research projects, notably in anomaly detection and smart city technologies. My experience includes developing machine learning algorithms and data science applications, which I have applied to a variety of medical and technological contexts.I am currently conducting research at I3N, University of Aveiro, under a research scholarship. My work focuses on developing advanced anomaly detection software, applying deep neural networks, support vector machines (SVM), and random forest methods. This research is centred around creating a novel algorithm based on cellular frustration detection mechanisms within the field of immunology, aiming to enhance precision and efficiency in the analysis of cellular behaviours. This project aligns with my interests in both biomedical engineering and artificial intelligence, allowing me to contribute to cutting-edge research in immunology while applying my expertise in software development and machine learning. In addition to my current work, I have contributed to several interdisciplinary projects, such as the EduCITY initiative, where I focused on creating smart and sustainable city solutions using data science techniques. I also developed diagnostic imaging software for thoracic X-rays, leveraging deep-learning models to improve the accuracy of medical diagnostics. My technical proficiency includes programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and C, as well as a strong foundation in biostatistics and computational neuroscience.Throughout my academic journey, I have been recognised with multiple scholarships and awards, including the INOVA+ Award for my contributions to the EduCITY project. I have presented my research at various conferences and co-authored publications exploring the intersection of technology, education, and sustainability. My work reflects a commitment to innovation and a collaborative approach to solving complex research challenges, underpinned by critical thinking, leadership, and a strong focus on delivering precise and efficient solutions.
