CurrentThe Accelerated Career Experience (ACE) Program is a three-year intensive development experience designed to accelerate technical, management, and leadership skills and career experiences. It is designed to advance the pipeline of front line leaders in Operations at Pharmavite.Tableting Operations Engineer (10 Months):- Implemented a 5S'ed point-of-use storage for O-rings used during changeovers. Created a diagram showing correct O-ring locations for the spray bars, and conducted training on each shift. Over 6 months, sprayer-related downtime decreased by 75%.- Created a bin system to refurbish stainless steel needles and nozzles used in the coaters. Damaged needles/nozzles that were once discarded are now put in a "damage" bin, which will be refurbished by a machinist and returned in the "repaired" bins. This bin system has saved $33,660 in the first year.Tableting Team Lead (6 Months):- Led the shift change morning meetings, assigning roles and priorities for the day, relaying information from the previous shift, and motivating to the shift for the day.- Inspected equipment after major and minor cleans, advising on recleaning or signing off.- Became familiar with the equipment, helped troubleshoot and problem-solve.- Worked cross-functionally with warehouse, maintenance and technical operations.Gummies Quality Assurance Specialist (7 Months):- Led non-conformance investigations, involving different departments to seek insight and create corrective and preventative actions to address the root cause of the issue. Documenting the details on what happened, the actions taken, and dispositioning the affected product.- Partnered with Supplier Quality to conduct a site audit for a potential Co-Man, delivering the closing audit report.- Led a project to eliminate redundant testing, which created overprocessing and skills waste. Conducted research to justify using in-process data, saving 15.5 hrs/week in QC to conduct other tasks and release product quicker.
