OwnerEmpire Home Improvements Llc May 2015 - PresentMyrtle Beach South Carolina And Wilmington North CarolinaEmpire Home Improvements is a full force home improvements company. We started in May 2015 purchasing a franchise partnered with Home Depot and we do business as Nhance Wood Renewal. As the owner of Empire Home improvements I have put all my business knowledge and trade knowledge that I learned in my years of working with the Home Depot's refacing program, and put it to the test to give our customers the best quality product as well as the best quality installation in a promised time frame. We do Cabinet refinishing and Floor refinishing through the Home Depot and out side of Home Depot through the franchise that we own called Nhance Wood renewal. We deal with a lot of home owners and customers and give them an affordable way to update their Kitchens, floors, and other wood in their homes including trim and furniture. We have a ton of experience with other home improvements around the house including Interior and exterior services. As we met with a lot of home owners needing other services around their home, we decided to expand our business and services to offer more then just our regular refinishing services. Our Company offers a line of work from Interior/ Exterior painting, light carpentry work, power washing, staining, cabinet refacing, floor replacing (wood, Laminate, and Engineered Wood), and tile work. We have a solid team of background checked employees who all pass random drug testing for our customers protection. We have state licensing, insurance and bonding also for our customers protection. As the owner of the company I strive by the best customer service, installation, and materials. Doing it right the first time builds confidence, repeat customers, and referrals. As the owner of the company i have been doing Home improvement installation, and management for over 12 years for big companies in New York, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee. I brought my experience from the north to share the best qualities of workman ship with the South!

OwnerNhance Wood Renewal May 2015 - PresentMyrtle Beach, South Carolina AreaI bought the franchise building a team from scratch. I started out small with one territory in just Myrtle beach with 4 Home Depots, to quickly expanding throughout the whole coast/grand strand of North Carolina and South Carolina covering a wide area from Charleston SC, all throughout Myrtle Beach, through Wilmington NC all the way to Jacksonville NC. I had the whole coast covered in 3 months. We grew from 4 Home Depots to 11 Home Depots. I brought my business revenues from $20,000 a month to $80,000 a month in a little over 3 months, using in store promoters inside the Home Depot and training Home Depot associates on our products and getting leads for us. I then started taking advantage of outside marketing and getting out of my comfort zone using different online lead sources, Direct Mailers, Canvassers, different magazines, home shows, and social media sites. I quickly expanded to well over $100,000 a month in sales within 5 months of being in business, and being the youngest and one of the top franchises in the network. I have had great success and believe in the business and products beyond belief. Nhance Wood Renewal is a great solution for customers offering 3 different options to customers when it comes to cabinets and floors. We can do a basic renewal and make your cabinets and floors look new again, Do a color shift and shift them a little darker, or do a complete color change, changing the color of your cabinets and floors, all of this at a fraction of the price of doing a total remodel. We also offer our New "Light-speed" Instant Cure finish, we are able to offer short to zero down time to our customers. Using our Light-speed service we can cure finish on floors and cabinets with our patented machines in minutes. Imagine your floors being brought back to life, protected and fully cured in hours, not days. Most of our jobs are finished in 1-3 days, and warrantied for 5 years, now there is no need too put that project off because of lost time. -
Director Of Sales And MarketingHome Depot Cabinet Refacing Aug 2014 - May 2015South East Atlantic Territory (Tennessee, North Carolina, And South Carolina)I traveled all around from TN, NC, and SC to recruit, Train, and Manage all of my Marketing reps/ Canvassers, In Home Sales Reps, and Product Knowledge Specialists, and Marketing Managers. The Job was a very high stressful position that taught me a lot about the business and details to work with all different people, and job titles. My responsibility was to manage and bring in revenue all while having a happy, motivated team. I create a solid team of people to generate leads inside 92 home depots. Their job was to help customers and educate them on Cabinet Refacing and to generate leads for our in home sales reps. I would work with them, so they could average at least 2-5 leads per 5 hour shift worked. I also trained and managed product knowledge specialists to go to the home depot stores in the different areas and train the store employees on our products and services to help them generate leads for us when our reps where not in the stores, and to keep a good relationship with our store personnel. I would also work on a daily basis with our in home sales reps and would go on appointments to help them raise their closing rate and help them close more sales on a one call close sale. I started working with the company in 2011 as a marketing rep, moving up very fast with the company throughout my 3 years, to a in home sales rep, to a product knowledge specialist to marketing manager, then to in home sales, to a sales manager, and eventually took the position of the director of sales and marketing over 3 states, 92 Home Depots, 5 office, and 50+ employees. I learned from the bottom up and I am a self motivated person who likes to hit bonuses and make everyone around me successful as a team. In my 3 years with the company I helped take the office from a brand new market of 30,000 a month to when i decided to leave $750,000 a month in sales.I ended up leaving this company in May 2015 to take all my experience to build my own company in myrtle beach south Carolina. -
Director Of Marketing And Sales ConsultantHome Depot Cabinet Refacing Jun 2014 - Aug 2014South East Alantic Territory ( Nc, Tn, Sc)Our Marketing team was doing phenomenal and we eventually started receiving a ton of leads for our sales team to handle. So me being a self motivated person who strive to better my self and keep growing with the company I wanted to keep succeeding and be able to come more valuable and learn everything I could to eventually open my own business. So since I had prior in home sales experience with the one call close mind set, from selling other products in the past, even though I haven't strictly sold in home for refacing , but i did have the confidence and product knowledge, i through it out there. I contacted the President of the Company and said i am working a full 40-50 hours a week managing all of the marketing with the in store promoters, and in store promoter managers, and product knowledge specialist, I promise the numbers will not drop down and the leads will keep increasing, but i would love to after hours run some leads since there is extra leads that are coming in. There was a training class going on as we spoke, but I kept stating I have what it takes to not only handle my full time job with you guys and keep my numbers and my employees numbers increasing so please give me a shot. I finally got a yes and started running 1-3 leads a week on weekends and nights. It was full commission and it didn't interfere with my normal work schedule. I study the 2 hour pitch book and flipped through the power point for the normal 2 week training on in home sales reps. I grabbed an extra kit and 2 days later on a Saturday ran 2 leads and sold both on close in a total of 5 hours worth of work. I was impressed and hooked and fell into the position of Director of Marketing and Sales, 2 months later. -
General ManagerHome Depot Cabinet Refacing Jul 2013 - Jun 2014Knoxville Tn, Chattanooga Tn, Charlotte Nc, Chattanooga TnI continued the position as Marketing Manager and managed Jr. Marketing Managers in each territory who would report back to me, and I would be the numbers person and help them keep the territories producing leads, and keeping the in store promoters motivated and producing sales. This position ended up taking on more roles and responsibilities to train Product Knowledge specialist in each of our territories to help us keep the Home Depot support and keep the associates producing leads, and educating our customers on Cabinet refacing as well. This drove our weekly leads through the roof between a strong in store promoter team, and product knowledge team. The South East Atlantic Territory was #1 on the sales charts for refacing with leads, and sales. Once I had a solid team of Product Knowledge specialists, and In store Promoter Managers, and a solid in store promoter program, We now could successfully say we had mastered the Home Improvement marketing plan and had an amazing system. I have a great personality who is very liked and outgoing, I am very confident and can build relationships in a short time, build confidence in others, and have proved i can sell a product especially not only when i put my mind to it but when i believe in it as well. I have moved up so fast from the hard work I put in and I learned so much it made me grown very fast and give me so much confidence that at a young age I had so many people working under me, but that they were following my role and being just as successful as I was and moving up with such a great company. It was amazing to inspire so many people of all ages, and have someone take a job and find out it be an amazing career where they would make and amazing living. -
Marketing ManagerHome Depot Cabinet Refacing Aug 2012 - Jul 2013Knoxville Tn, Chattanooga Tn, Charlotte Nc, And Greenville ScMy responsibilities as Marketing Manager was to hire, train and manage in store promoters in all 92 of our Home Depots to generate leads for our sales team. We had a quota to make sure we hit each week to keep the business growing. Our lead generators worked inside multiple Home Depots in the South Atlantic territory and spoke with and educated customers on Cabinet Refacing and how customers could up-date their kitchens at an affordable cost. I would host weekly meetings and have weekly bonuses to help keep everyone motivated. We had every store almost booked 7 days a week with reps working in black aprons and working tables as well as walking around talking to customers. I would visit and work with each rep weekly to help keep them stay focused and make sure the hit goals of at least 1 lead every 2 hours they worked. We would have team events, competitions, home shows and all learn something new each weekly meeting, I created a quick 30 second pitch that eventually started being used in other territories as well as how to overcome objections, I spent as much time with each rep as needed both the lower producing and hire producing members of our team to make sure everyone was treated equal and to keep everyone following the script. We would approach an average of 20-30 customers an hour in the home depot stores and average 1-2 leads per 30 people approached. On a 4 hour shift some reps received 1 lead, were others received 6 leads. I made it clear that anybody can get a lead, but quality leads are key! 90% of my in store promoters averaged a 30% demo ratio from leads gotten, and a 30% sales ratio of those demos. The in store promoter program that i created brought the company revenues from 150,000 a month to an average of 400,000 a month in sales! After successfully creating a solid team i promoted the top performers to manage the 5 office we had, and I had meetings with them as they hired and trained the reps, and worked with them on store levels. -
Field Marketing ManagerUs Remodelers May 2012 - Aug 2012Knoxville Tn, Chattanooga Tn, Charlotte Nc, And Greenville ScAs the Field Marketing Manager i would go to 92 home depots and work with the Managers, Department Supervisors, Kitchen Designers, Lead Generators and other Home Depot Associates. I would set up Cabinet Refacing solution tables in the stores and train the Home Depot associates on the products we offered, and train them to generate leads and help them educate the customers while our in store reps were not in the store. While in this position I drove in store leads from an average of 20 store leads a month to over 70 store leads a month and brought the closing rate from a 25% closing rate to a 60% closing rate on store set leads. I would travel to each store at least once a month and keep them posted and excited on our products and share the sales we received from their stores and from the associate who put the lead in to motivate more store associate to get on board with our program and help not only the refacing company grow but help our territory be one of the top markets in the company for highest leads, and revenues. -
In Store Promoter/ Lead GeneratorUs Remodelers Apr 2012 - May 2012Knoxville, Tennessee Area, Chattanooga Tennessee AreaI work inside Multiple Home Depots interacting with all different customers helping them find what they were looking for and educating them as i was helping them on Cabinet Refacing. I would work Tuesday- Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for an average of 20 hours a week. This was a full commission job and i was paid per lead that i set, that actually had a salesmen go out to there house plus commission per sale. In the 20 hours worked i was the number on In Store Promoter/ Lead Generator hitting my bonus every single week. I had the highest demo ratio, and highest closing ratio, average 4 leads a day (1 an hour), and (20 leads per week). I averaged a 50% demo ratio having 10 of those leads have a sales rep out to their house and from those 10 about 30% bought. average 3 out of my 10 demos selling a week. -
Inside Sales RepresentativeCarolina Ecosmart Dec 2011 - Apr 2012Charlotte, North Carolina AreaWhile working at Carolina EcoSmart in Charlotte NC, I did canvassing and inside sales for Radiant barrier, Solar hot water heaters, and Solar. This was a new company and i started out with there sister company The Painting Pros. I was the top in home sales rep for The Painting Pros, selling 60% of the leads issued to me for interior and exterior paint as well as gutter protection. The owner then saw the potential in the Solar industry and got into the business opening up Carolina EcoSmart. He asked me to move over from the painting sales since I had such a high closing rate. I saw a lot of potential to move up and create a future for me. While working for the company I worked home shows to generate leads, did door to door canvassing to help generate leads, and ran my self generated leads, as well as company given leads as they came in. I did very well with the solar sales selling an average of 25%-30% of the self generated leads, compared to 40%-50% of company given leads. I created a good rapport with the customers and had a very strong one call close approach. I woke up every morning ready to make a sale and was always self motivated and positive on every lead. I gave the customers the best solution for them and had the price fit into their budget. Once the rapport was made and they showed me an electric bill of 250.00 plus it was a no brainer that i had the sale! I learned so much selling solar and giving customers a cleaner energy and a way to save money on the future. Creating the rapport with them and getting them to trust you and showing them how they can not have an electric bill and put that money towards a 7 year loan they are saving money in those 7 years and after that all that money is saved money and ads value to their homes. This opened my eyes to in home sales and helped become an amazing sales person. Being able to walk into a home, and show a customer how they can save money with an amazing product, and walking out with a sale is the best feeling. -
ForemanSunrise Landscaping And Maintenance Nov 2005 - Nov 2011Rockland County, New YorkDuring the 6 years of working with Sunrise Landscaping and Maintenance, I started out as a seasonal employee doing general labor, including lawn maintenance, Snow shoveling, painting, power washing, and other general labor duties for interior home improvements and landscaping needs for customers. As I grew with the company I became a crew leader, Driver, and eventually became the Foreman covering 3 lawn crews, 1 tree crew, 2 specialty crews who did pavers, and under ground sprinkler systems. I would make sure all customers were happy with the quality of work being performed, I would bid on jobs and sell the jobs as well as canvass to get new clients to help grow the business. I learned how to manage a company and run a business, as well as a lot of traits from installation, sales, customer relationships, management and how to work with a team. I helped grow a 1 truck 2 man operation landscaping from the start to a successful $250,000 full force landscaping company. I decided to leave this job to move out of New York and put my heart to Sales and get a change of pace.
