Hi, I'm Bryan Bookhammer. I graduated from University of North Texas with a BA in Chemistry in 2012. After spending four years working in a laboratory setting, I discovered my true passion in life and that's strength and conditioning. I have played soccer for 27 years and still continue to play. I also played semi-pro football as a kicker/punter and wide receiver in the American Eight-man Football League (AEFL) from 2008-2010. I am still actively looking to take my skillset to a higher level given the opportunity whether it be in football or soccer. Having the luxury of playing both sports helped me have a deeper appreciation for what it takes to play at an elite level. That's when I made moves... In 2016, I received my strength and conditioning certification from the International Coaches Assc. with a focus on soccer. The following year I received my certification from the USAW. Through further research in the understanding of strength and conditioning, I have come to appreciate the fundamental movement-based concepts incorporated within the training aspect. In 2018, I added the FMS Level 1 certification to my list of accolades. It wasn't until I received my certifications that I narrowed my interest toward the sports performance side of strength and conditioning, which has not only made me a better player, but continues to make me a better coach.
