Mechanical Planner Front Line Supervisor
Current• Develope job plans to facilitate safe, cost competitive, and efficient execution of maintenance activities.• Develope safe, cost competitive, and efficient plans that optimize use of resources to minimize downtimes, including all necessary support crafts • Ensure planning is consistent with Planner Complexity guidelines.• Interface with business team members to develop integrated plans for complex maintenance jobs.• Communicate execution timing requirements and update estimated completion during outages.• Advises Process Mechanical Coordinator on all required documents are prepared and scope is aligned for proper planning. Coordinates schedule forecast with resourcing availability to help facilitate setting last acceptable completion date.Reliability and Maintenance• Ensures plans are effective and cost competitive including the following:o Provide detailed cost estimateso Steward Balance Plans vs. Actuals as identified by SAP report o Utilize correct agreement supplier for services/material needed.o Review Contractor estimates both T&M and Unit Rate.o Verify components of estimates and ensure that they achieve the intent of the work order.o Use of Norms based estimates and RM database on all standard job plans.o Test with procurement competitive bidding • Responsible to verify work orders are properly coded post screening meeting when ready for planningo LACD/Basic Finish o Priorityo Maintenance Activity Typeo Correct planner codeo Correct PM order type o Functional Location• Ensure planned work is released to the integrated plant ISTE schedule• Specify material with appropriately approved P&ID and GEMS tables• Accountable to provide monthly planning metrics to Planning & Scheduling Mechanical SLS
