About Bryan Cady
I am currently looking for a new job in Washington state. I am jack of all trades and a highly divergent thinker. My career has exposed me to many fields all of which I worked on designs from drawing board to in field application. I bring to the table a keen sense of attention to detail on complex systems. I have been vital in failure analysis in high power battery and electrical systems. I have been a key designer in an advanced state of charge system using an complex impedance cell model. My career focused me to create an algorithm to allow for long term storage management of lithium cells to increase retention capacity in real world situations(patented). I have extensive experience with the use and application of industrial coatings and polymers; specializing in polyureas and polyurethanes. Many solutions involving polymers, glues and coatings have been created by myself and implemented into production system with time/cost sensitivity. I am a highly skilled systems integrator. Previously was working on integrating a ultra-wideband radar system into an embedded Linux single board computer. Working with bare metal drivers(SPI,I2C,GPIO in a Linux OS), minor kernel hacking, TCP/IP sockets for getting data out of the system and a Labview GUI for controlling the system and displaying data. Along with radar I also integrated many other sensor systems into a remote data acquisition device. Those other sensors include but are not limited to ; LIDAR, SONAR, inertial measurement unit(IMU), machine vision, temperature , pressure and strain. I am a maker. I love to learn and I love to create! I never stop learning. In my free time I work towards keeping sharp and learning every chance I get. I have created on off grid solar electrical system and lived off grid for over 6 months.
Listed skills include Python, Electronics, Engineering, R&D, and 24 others.

Battery Specialist
Give input on battery designs. Keep up with current battery technology. Create specifications high power battery systems. Test high power battery systems. Work to improve state of charge and state of health algorithms and models for EV battery systems. So many more things I cannot even think to try to list them here.
Test Engineer
Collect data on EV drivetrain systems. Batteries in the electric motorcycles are high power large format battery systems. Run tests on component level and report back to engineers. Analyze data to pick out important details and help troubleshoot systems. Equipment in our lab; motorcycle dyno, eDaq-lite,NI-DAQ's, CAN bus systems, multi-kilowatt power systems.
Polymer Consultant
Contract with zero as an experienced polymer consultant. Here I helped developed systems to help protect the battery packs and improve overall weatherproofing of the system. Gave input on choice of surface preparation, glue choice and plastic choice for parts used in vehicle.
