Assist the coaches in leading the team in team events and being an example of the team’s core values. I was selected by the coaching staff and teammates to be a Team Captain. Through being a Team Captain I gave many speeches before track meets and at practice to boost team moral and point us towards our ultimate goal of winning a team championship. On May 16, 2015, we went to Spokane, Washington to compete for the Big Sky 2015 Conference Meet where we walked away as the champions.

Create a database for companies to certify their products to California and assist the engineering staff on research development of appliances to be more efficient. I researched appliances such as battery chargers, faucets and sprinkler heads on how they function and what regulation we can apply to optimize energy savings. When researching residential sprinkler heads, I found that each sprinkler head contains a pressure regulator that makes the sprinkler flow between 2-60 gallons per minute. These pressure regulators can be swapped out of each sprinkler with different flow rates so calculations were done to see which flow rate will save the most amount of water while maintaining the healthy green color of residential lawns. This information was then sent to my engineering supervisor in which he will present towards our executive director.
