The New Creations of Life is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide quality social, educational, and therapeutic counseling services for a successful transition to community with the goal that each person served will experience a higher quality of life for self, family, and others. We achieve this through our structured delivery system and programs which are designed to empower and equip residents to meet the myriad of daily social, economic, and educational challenges that confront them. We target those who are at highest risk, with particular emphasis on persons who have been disconnected from community for thirty (30) or more days via corrections, substance abuse, or other mental rehabilitative programs. Our transition strategy is designed to address the foundational causes that foster barriers and ultimately lead to resident disconnection from mainstream society. With two facilities located in the North Philadelphia Area and expanding, the New Creations of Life offers the following services for those who qualify:• Secure and Wholesome Living Environment• Drug-free Residential Housing and Board• I/O Patient Counseling (5 days/week)• Support Group Meetings• Literacy Programs• GED Preparation• Skills Training (select areas)• Career/Educational Counseling• Life Skills • Counseling• Recreational Therapy• Networking
