Bryan is a talented litigator with a proven track record of obtaining favorable results in disputes with taxing authorities at the state and federal levels. Bryan has the skillset, experience, and professionalism to successfully resolve a dispute with a taxing authority (federal, state, or local) of any type of tax (income, franchise, sales, etc.). Bryan is currently a Senior Counsel in the nationally-recognized Tax Controversy & Litigation Practice group of Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams, & Aughtry, P.C. Bryan’s current practice consists of representing individuals and every form of entities (corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, estates, trusts, and nonprofit corporations) in all phases of the tax controversy and litigation process at the federal and state levels. Bryan started his career at the Internal Revenue Service, where his primary responsibility was to represent the IRS before the United States Tax Court. At the IRS, Bryan was regularly recognized for his trial work, receiving several awards and regularly serving as an instructor at various courses designed to train IRS attorneys on trial practice and procedure. Bryan's experience at the IRS covered every stage of the tax reporting and collecting process, from reviewing returns to collection alternatives and bankruptcy. Bryan joined Ryan Law Firm after serving ten successful years at the IRS and achieving the title of Senior Counsel. Bryan's practice at Ryan Law focused on state and local tax, especially litigation at the trial and appellate levels.
