About Bryan Dunning
I have been a practicing attorney for over ten years with experience in both private and federal practice. I got my start working in the energy field – predominantly in rate regulation matters before FERC, and was able to observe the industry shift from coal to natural gas as a less greenhouse gas and pollution intensive way to generate electricity and provide energy to various sectors of the economy. I am excited now, to again be working in the environmental and energy field, at a time when it is possible to have a true transition to a clean energy economy. To the challenges of this transition, I bring my skills in engaging in the regulations and technical provisions of the energy, and particularly the electricity, sector, with a focus on generation, renewable energy standards and credits in the PJM region; and, having supplemented my skill set with a degree in public health, a focus on cumulative impacts of pollution on communities, and environmental justice. The goal is to build the best policy framework to advance the clean energy transition to provide clean, reliable energy in a manner that shares the benefits and burdens of the transition equitably throughout our communities.
