Originally appointed by the Governor in 1994 to the Board of Dental Examiners which was merged with the Disciplinary Board less than a year later into the Washington DQAC. -Chaired Hearing Panel A to adjudicate legal cases for 6 years. -Chaired the Commission 2000-2001.-Chaired the Rules Writing Committee for Continuing Education in the Dentistry.

Received the Congresstional Health Professions Scholarship in 1973 and after completing a General Practice Residency at Irwin Army Hospital, completed 4 years of active duty and 28 years Reserves. Retired as a Colonel.
