• Independently manage a portfolio of continuing students through the financial process.
• Answer student questions and anticipate financial concerns in a manner that is customer focused. Where necessary, counsel students to ensure financial obligations are honored
• Inform and advise students and parents regarding eligibility and responsibilities of financial aid programs; interpret and explain policies, application procedures and availability of funding from various sources
• Review balance and out of pocket alternative options for student. Assist student with steps to set up payment plan of out-of-pocket balance.
• Review and evaluate required documentation and package awards in accordance with established guidelines; interpret and apply Federal, State, and Institutional regulations to determine and certify student eligibility
• Provides assistance in collections and communications regarding student accounts.

• Supervise collections department with a total of 12 employees with 7 employees under my direct supervision
• Responsible for financial reporting to CFO and CEO
• Conduct interviews with prospective candidates
• Train new hires on policies and procedures
• Make daily collection calls, sending emails, coordinate payment plan, repayment offer resolution regarding overdue balances
• Work with the financial aid department and student services to ensure timely enrollment and any changes to students schedule* Work closely with 3rd party collection agency
