SCE distribution problems are solved by identifying the problematic equipment such as undersized transformer bank, capacitor bank switching, undersized secondary conductors and failed concentric neutral cable. Low voltage or high voltage complaints are also handled by identifying if a regulator is not operating properly, misoperation of capacitor controls and the proper tap positions on a transformer bank. Work with Distribution and Design Standards (DDS) to identify the cause of a flicker complaint by evaluating both the distribution system and customer equipment. When SCE problems are identified coordinating activities with internal personnel from planning, field engineering, troublemen, crews and customer account executives is required to expedite a solution for a customer.
