Field Support Specialist Sr.
Current• Leverage automation tools and data to dial in the best mix of human and cyber-related results • Provide tier 1 technical support for the Hexagon suite of custom Geographic Information (GIS) and Outage Management Systems (OMS) applications and data capture for streamlining labor performance• Data capture, building statistical models, and analysis for high-value cost-saving decision-making • Liaison for Measurement and other InService users to address software code changes, deployments, UAT testing (qTest) for software upgrades, and SmartGrid-related activities with DMS Support • Working with technology assets to quickly resolve network instability with real-time testing and validations • Timely resolution of work requests within Oracle CC&B & RightNow CX to ensure Oncor meets time requirements and remains within specified metrics• Provide on-the-job training for new employees and assist leadership with onboarding within Measurement Services• Maintain knowledge of new market-related protocols and requirements required by the PUCT and ERCOT• Support a fleet of wireless modems, firmware, and new cutting-edge peripheral hardware used in the field
