Global Express Captain
Serve as Pilot in Command on the Bombardier Global Express. This aircraft is an ultra long range, large cabin business aircraft that operates around the globe on a weekly basis.Additional responsibilities in this role have included being the Lead Developer for International Training, co-authoring the International Procedures Manual, creating the crew preparation manual for Safety Assessment of Foreign Aircraft (SAFA) checks, performing maintenance test flights and evaluating and endorsing new pilots for oceanic crossings.

Developed and executed strategies in six core areas: Operational Flight Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Flight Security, Emergency Response, Audits and Evaluations and Regulatory Compliance.It was also my responsibility to represent the safety interests of the airline as a liaison with government regulatory agencies to include the Federal Aviation Administration, National Transportation Safety Board, Transportation Security Administration, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.In addition, I oversaw and developed the safety management system processes for the entire company. These programs included the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), Maintenance Aviation Safety Action Program (MASAP), Flight Operations Quality Assurance Program (FOQA), DOT Drug & Alcohol education, testing and recovery as well as Flight/Maintenance Incident reporting.Aligned the Department to work directly with Flight Operations, Maintenance, the Operational Control Center and Training to provide open dialogue for positive procedural change.Led a successful AR/GUS audit to a Platinum Rating.Instituted new policies and regulations with the Transportation Safety Administration, both locally and in Washington, D.C. Also merged core principles, policies and procedures during the Flight Options/Flexjet merger.

Developed the curriculum for the airline's distance learning and ground school platform. Set up and established the learning management system, its processes and content. Chaired Online Training Committee. Also performed duties as an Instructor pilot conducting various training flights globally including Initial Operating Experience (IOE), International Operations, Annual Line Training and Remedial training as well as a Maintenance Verification Pilot.
