Responsible for estimating and managing a broad range of utility projects as well as complete site packages in both public and private sectors throughout the Greater Triangle and Eastern NC. Work closely with engineers, developers and general contractors to budget, value engineer and tackle design and constructability issues to ensure projects can be completed on time and within budget. Other responsibilities include project buy-out, writing subcontracts and purchase orders and working with various project teams to closely track changes in plans, scope of work, schedule and specifications. Responsible for various pre-construction and project management tasks within Centurion's Civil Group. Among those are handling contracts, reviewing submittals, creating project schedules, writing subcontracts and estimating utility projects in value anywhere from $50k to $13M.Centurion's typical utility projects include installation of water, sewer and storm drainage lines, as well as installation and modifications to both water and sewer pump stations and treatment plants.
