As a Mechanical Technician I am responsible for performing mechanical testing on metals as efficiently as possible with paramount emphasis on accuracy of results. Some of the mechanical tests performed include; tensile testing, Charpy impact testing, Brinell and Rockwell hardness testing, fracture testing, stress testing, and also performing heat treatments, to name a few. In executing these testing procedures, some of the tasks involved include the physical installation of delicate samples, entering any necessary parameters into testing software, monitoring software through the completion of the test, performing any post-test measurements, manually entering test data into software if necessary, all while maintaining the quality of test specimens throughout the entirety of the testing procedure.

As a receiver, I physically unloaded freight while actively updating store inventory through the electronic receiving system. I was also responsible for packing out products into aisles for customer access. In deliveries, my daily activities involved picking customer orders and loading them onto the delivery trucks, driving to customers homes and manually delivering products to the customer. These products included anything from appliances to drywall or lumber. At any time during these activities I was expected to provide customer service to any inquiring customers.
